FAQ

What are the side effects?

We’re all different, so some people experience bumps easier than others. Bumps typically happen from needle pokes (these go away in about a day or so), bruises (2 days to 2 weeks), swelling (2 days to 2 weeks), and rarely from the product itself (can be corrected if needed after 2-3 weeks). Some people are predisposed to bruise.

We suggest that you avoid vitamins, alcohol, and ibuprofen products to minimize the chance of bruising. Bruises can last 2-3 days or up to 2 weeks depending on type and location. Arnica pills ($50) can be purchased during your visit that can help heal bruises. Occasionally, we may suggest a follow up laser appointment to help speed up more severe bruises.

When can I resume normal activities?

Wait 24 hours before wearing glasses that push on the area of injection or resuming normal activities including working out. You can fly the same day!
